Finder show hidden files shortcut11/23/2023 ![]() I can see hidden files by putting this defaults write AppleShowAllFiles YES command in terminal but i want to get a keyboard shortcut for it. Go to your hard drive -> user name -> Library -> Services -> and there you will see the Services Automator scripts. I want my Mac to show hidden files when i hit + H (like ubuntu). Hit that combo to reveal hidden files (or hide them if theyre already visible). Weve already shown you how to hide and view files in the Finder, but heres a quick reminder of the keyboard shortcut for the job: Command+Shift+Period.
